Description: |
| The wrench features a sliding jaw with rack teeth that engage teeth in an arc on the inside of the handle. The specifications mention the jaws with smooth or toothed pipe gripping surfaces. A threaded lever nut on the pivot bolt serves as an adjustment lock. This structure was altered in Webb and Hildreth's Dec. 17, 1907 patent (no. 874,269). |
